I carry deep reverence for spiritual lineage, practice, sharing in community, + finding little areas of joy, gratitude, + moving the body
I want to dance, I want to laugh, I want to support others to grow, +
continue to find all of the greatness
that's already in them.
if you know me you'll know a few things
how i found yoga practice

I found Yoga practice for the first time through a very special friend of mine over ten years ago - my first Yoga class was at a Gold's Gym + it led me to this place, seeking deeper understanding + honouring the roots of Yoga
why did i become a teacher
Much of what motivates me to teach the lineage of Yoga was watching others hurt themselves in public classes, + hearing misconceptions over the years.
When I would leave the classes that people were hurting themselves or treated poorly I would cry on the way home + knew that I had to become a teacher to support the growth of safer spaces
how the practice carries us through it all
The practice has taken me through my life. It's brought me through the death of my brother, through heartbreak, through trauma, through ADHD, through the hard parts, + is ever-present during the beautiful parts.
I live a sober lifestyle in honour of spiritual practice, practice Brahmacharya (right use of energy), + protect myself through discernment, + Abhaya Mudra.
I honour my lineage every day + hold space for gratitude to be here through my bloodline of my Armenian ancestors. I carry with me love + respect for those in my bloodline who survived genocide.
It's important for me to remind you that you don't need me. all of what you need is already inside of you. if it's in me, it's in you.
